Taishi Tsuji, General manager of Business Consulting section at our company, gave a presentation about 'Otagai Project' at the 8th Otagai Conclave in Tama, Hachiouji, Tokyo on 20th of October, 2014.
'Otagai' project can support its realization based on permanently complementary relationship between ASEAN and Japan.
Otagai Project started at the end of 2011. A Japanese word, 'Otagai' means 'each other' in English. When Thailand got the historical heavy floods, it was started for establishing strong supply chains and reliable back-up systems between Japan and Thailand.
It has been improved for recent a few years through the several pilot projects between Japan and ASEAN, in particular countries around the Mekong River basin.
'Otagai' project can support its realization based on permanently complementary relationship between ASEAN and Japan.
